HELPFUL TIP - Turtles spend up to 25% of their life out of the water to baskunder the UV light. Position the Island within 20cm of the UV light makingsure there is no Glass or Perspex between as this will stop the UVB rays. Turtles need UVB which helps their body produce Vitamin D3 and inconjunction with a calcium block will keep their shell hard.
