The Viper Reptile Heat Mat is self adhesive and permanently adheres to a glass surface. This will allow your animal to heat up or cool down depending on its bodily requirements at the time.

Available in four Sizes :

5 watt - 15 x 15cm
7 watt - 15 x 28cm
14 watt - 28 x 28cm
28 watt - 100 x 15cm

Viper recommends covering approximately 30% of the enclosure with the heat mat to create a comfortable thermal gradient. This allows your reptile to regulate its body temperature according to its needs, promoting natural behaviour and optimal health.

Additionally, when using the Heat Mat on a Glass Terrarium placed directly on a bench or table, it is essential to maintain an air circulation gap between the bench and the base of the terrarium (Use rubber stoppers supplied). This will allow important airflow and ventilation and prevent the glass from overheating, creating a safe and comfortable environment for your reptile.

Viper Heat Mats come with a Rheostat heat adjuster so you can increase or decrease heat as desired.
