The Viper Reptile Compact UV 10.0 is suitable for Reptiles requiring intense UVB such as Bearded Dragons, Blue Tongues, Juvenile Reptiles and Baby Turtles.

This Reptile Compact UV 10.0 is suitable for an enclosure up to 50cm. The highest UVB levels occur within 15cm of the Globe. UVB output declines 80-90% at 45cm therefore, your Reptile's recommended basking site should be within 15-25cm from the Globe. For larger enclosures equally place 2 x Compact UVB Globes throughout, or user a VIPER UVB Fluorescent Tube.

As UVB output diminishes significantly beyond the 45cm mark, careful consideration must be given to the placement of the Reptile Compact UV 10.0 Globe in larger enclosures. For habitats exceeding 50cm, it's advisable to either evenly distribute 2 x Compact UVB Globes throughout the enclosure or utilize a VIPER UVB Fluorescent Tube for comprehensive UVB coverage. By strategically positioning the lighting sources, you can create a conducive environment for your reptiles, encouraging natural behaviors and supporting their overall health and vitality.
